The nursing staff is highly trained, as well as friendly and caring, allowing us to provide a warm yet safe environment for our patients.
Lilian Papaioannou – Anesthesiologist
Dr. Papaioannou received her medical degree from the University of Pecs in Hungary. She trained at the KAT Trauma Hospital in Athens, and at the Heartlands and Sollihul NHS Trust in Birmingham. Dr. Papaioannou worked at the ICU of the Athens Medical Centre for 3 years where she gained significant experience managing critically ill patients.
Dr. Papaioannou is a member of the Hellenic Society of Anesthesiologists, the European Society of Anesthesiologists (ESA), and she is on the GMC Specialist Register for Anesthesiologists.
Konstantinos Tsimidakis – Anesthesiologist
Dr. Tsimidakis received his medical degree from the university of Crete in Greece. He trained at Laiko General Hospital of Athens and specialized in Emergency and Trauma Medicine at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Glasgow Scottland
Dr. Tsimidakis is a member of the European Society of Anesthesiologists (ESA), and has received training in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), in PreHospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and in Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS).
Ioannis Topalidis – Anesthesiologist
Dr. Topalidis received his medical degree from the University of Plovdiv in Bulgaria. He trained at Nikaia General Hospital in Athens and at Onaseio Cardiosurgery Center. He worked at the ICU of the Athens Medical Center for 5 years where he gained significant experience managing critically ill patients.
Dr. Topalidis is a member of the Hellenic Society of Anesthesiologists, the European Society of Anaesthesiologists(ESA) and he is on the GMC Specialist Register for Anaesthesiologists. He has received training in ATLS, PHTLS and APLS.
Georgia Spanea – Nurse
Miss Spanea is the friendly voice you hear when you call our clinic. Georgia is a registered nurse and graduated from the Higher School of Nursing of the University of Athens in 2007. She been working with Dr. Zambacos for the last 9 years, and has become a vital part of our team.
Miss Spanea looks after our patients at the Kolonaki Plastic Surgery Clinic and assists Dr. Zambacos in all his in-office treatments and minor operations.
Giota Apostolou – Nurse
Ms. Apostolou welcomes you at the Mytilene clinic. She is a graduate of the Nursing Department of the Technological Educational Institute of Larissa, where she completed her studies in 2011. She has been working at the Mytilene Plastic Surgery Clinic with Mr. Zampacos since 2012, assisting him with treatments and minor procedures performed at the clinic.
