Liquid Lifting – Liquid Facelift
Gradual skin aging is accompanied by a reduction in elastin and collagen, which, combined with the loss of facial volume, leads to the appearance of sagging and wrinkles.
What is a liquid facelift?
Liquid or injectable facelift (liquid facelift) is an advanced facial rejuvenation technique that uses injectable fillers, PRP mesotherapy, hyaluronic acid, and Botox®/Dysport®. With this technique, facial volume is restored, expression wrinkles are reduced, the facial contour is improved, lip shape is corrected, and wrinkles around the mouth and eyes are softened. At the same time, mesotherapy with hyaluronic acid and PRP improves skin elasticity and firmness.
Who is liquid facelift for?
Liquid facelift is intended for patients with mild to moderate facial laxity who do not wish to undergo surgery but want a “refreshed” appearance without incisions and without downtime.
How is a liquid facelift performed?
The procedure depends on each individual face and is strictly personalized. The plastic surgeon carefully examines the face, focusing on areas that need volume restoration, lifting, or wrinkle reduction.
Initially, hyaluronic acid is injected into areas of volume loss, such as the cheekbones, jawline, temples, dark circles, forehead, and lips. It is then injected into areas with wrinkles, such as the nasolabial folds, corners of the mouth, and upper lip lines. Botox®/Dysport® is applied to eliminate expression wrinkles and to lift the eyebrows, mouth corners, and facial contour. The treatment is completed with PRP and hyaluronic acid mesotherapy.
What should I expect after the treatment?
The procedure is painless, performed in the clinic, and completed within 1–2 hours. The results of hyaluronic acid injections are immediate, while Botox®/Dysport® requires 7–10 days to take effect. PRP and hyaluronic acid mesotherapy begin showing results after 10–15 days.
What kind of recovery is needed after a liquid facelift?
Recovery is immediate, with only avoidance of intense exercise for 24 hours recommended.
How many sessions are needed?
The treatment is usually completed in one session, but often it is divided into two sessions spaced two weeks apart for greater comfort and optimal results.
How long do the results of a liquid facelift last?
The results typically last 1 to 1.5 years, depending on the concern being treated and the patient’s skin quality.
